Should I put down the cat?

So me and my partner have this cat, it's about 11 years old, it has been pissing inside now for a while (which is stinking out the place) even if he has been outside the whole day, then comes inside JUST TO PISS. He gets up on the bench and eats food, no matter how many times to tell it to get off. Plus he attacked me today when I tried to get him outside which has lead me to make this poll :P. I love animals and feel it would be cruel to put him down, but kind of at the point where it seems necessary, he has had a good life.

So vote please and leave a comment.

(Not my cat)

Cats are very clean animals, and generally only urinate/poop in one spot. If they are urinating somewhere else, it can be one of two things. Either you aren't keeping the litter box clean enough, or there is a mental problem with the cat. Sadly I'm not joking. If they always have a clean litter box and they have been fixed and they are start peeing somewhere, their mental health is severely at stake. Take your cat to the vet immediately.

Take it out somewhere and let it go. It'll manage.

@ AnthonyC - Yeah we know his mental health is stuffed, pretty sure it's dimensia or something. But what is a vet going to do bout that? Plus that costs money which we don't really have.

It is pretty old so maybe it's just time.. It seems really upsetting though, I wouldn't have the heart :o

If it's mental state is bad, it may just be for the best to let it go. :c
