So .. was reading an article on a 12 year old "Jacob Barnett" a child genius, who has began expanding on Einstein's theory of relativity. Is quite interesting, I recommend you give it a read.

I was a child genius once. Now I am an adult genius but my genius is clouded by drink and partially by having a TERRIBLE MEMORY (which is mostly attributable to drink).
I really don't care how smart my might be, I want my kid to learn how to be a kid first and foremost. I will not have my child miss out being a child.
Well, while it could affect the social life of a kid by inscribing him into university, it isnt a bad move because if he stayed in normal classes he would get bored because its to easy, and he would focus his attention on more important matters OR worst case scenario develop some kind of odd behavior because of it. Just my opinion

i dunno man. this seems scripted to me. maybe im just overly skeptical. but as far as putting kids that young into college? definitly going to stunt their social growth. there are so many things you learn about so many things before you're supposed to even think about college. this kid hasnt experienced enough of life yet.
I agree with A Kid at Heart. Being a kid is so important, and grades will only get you so far without social skills.
I guess he can get somewhere being smart, but honestly, he's only 12, I still played with coloring books. -_-
The only reason why they'd listen to him is because he's so cute
well at least we have some smart people for the future..lol

I knew about this kid for awhile, the amazing thing about him is.. he's autistic! I love it!
